Dr. Ko has been practicing dentistry for over fifteen years. He completed his undergraduate studies at Washington University in St. Louis with a Magna Cum Laude in Biology, and obtained his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He received Dean's Scholarship for all four years. Graduating dental school with Magna Cum Laude, Dr. Ko also received Louis I. Grossman Award in Endodontics, and Academy of General Dentistry Award.
To further his training, he completed his general practice residency at Harvard Medical School's Brigham and Women's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital, where he worked with oncology, cardiac, and other medically compromised patients. Upon the completion of his residency, Dr. Ko started serving the Milford community but also stayed on as an instructor and clinical attending at MGH. During his seven years stay at MGH, he treated medically compromised patients, lectured to dental residents, and performed full mouth rehabilitation in the OR to the under-served patient population. Dr. Ko now practices in Milford full time but enjoys going back several times a year to lecture to the dental residents at Harvard.
Exposed to quality, comprehensive dentistry early on in his career, Dr. Ko strives to provide the most caring, highest quality dental care to his patients. He has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education, and took courses at the premier Dawson Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, the L.D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education, both internationally renowned institutions for post-graduate dental studies.
Dr. Ko's clinical interest includes: cosmetic dentistry, TMJ/TMD, bite/occlusion, and implant dentistry.
Dr. Ko is also a member of the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, West Metropolitan Dental Society, Multidisciplinary Dental Institute, the Pankey Institute, the International Team for Implantology, International Implant Dental Association, and the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Studies.
Outside of the office, Dr. Ko enjoys running, snowboarding, tennis, and photography.
