What Sets Us Apart

Dear Patients, Governor Baker and Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS) have requested dental offices to defer elective procedures until after April 6 in hopes to decrease transmission of COVID 19 but also preserve personal protective equipment (PPE) for the healthcare workers working in the front line.  We will not be seeing our regularly scheduled patients until April 6.  The date could be moved back depending on the recommendation from the state and MDS.  We will provide additional updates as new recommendations come out.  We also have the ability to provide telemedicine through ZOOM, to be able to provide consultation and emergency triage over video conferencing.  If you would like to setup a consultation, please scroll down to the bottom and send us a message.

We are also working with our local connections to donate some of our surgical masks to Milford Regional Hospital and other Boston area hospitals.  In the meantime, please stay safe and healthy.  We are looking forward to helping you with your dental needs as the pandemic situation improves.  If you are experiencing acute dental pain or swelling, please reach us through the website or call our office at 508-478-3800.

Dear Families, Friends, and Patients:

The safety of our patients and staff has been and will continue to be our top priority.  Our office will be closed for non-emergency visits at least until March 28, 2020.  We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.  If you have regular scheduled appointments after 3/28/2020, please do check back this page a few days before your appointment.  Any questions, or any dental emergency, please contact us through the website or phone.  We will get back to you immediately.

Dear Families, Friends, and Patients:

The safety of our patients and staff has been and will continue to be our top priority.  We have not had a patient present at our office with coronavirus, and our practice continues to follow OSHA’s best practices for infection control.

As the severity and contagion of COVID-19 continues to come to light, we wanted to make you aware of upcoming changes to our practice. We have an ethical responsibility to ensure the safety of our patients and help our healthcare system from becoming overburdened.  We are electing to err on the side of caution and starting Monday 3/16/2020, we will be scaling back office hours and rescheduling all non-essential, elective procedures that can be deferred.  We will continue to have staff available for true emergencies; our goal is to treat patients when possible and avoid them having to go to urgent healthcare providers that are already overwhelmed with increased volume.  We will continue to evaluate the situation as it evolves and determine on a weekly basis when it is safe for us to return to our normal business hours.  If you have upcoming appointments previously scheduled, we will reach out to you either through email, text, or phone.  We will also provide constant updates on our website at www.goodmanko.com/what-sets-us-apart

Should you have any questions related to your appointment or our infection control protocols, please feel free to reach out to us through our website at www.goodmanko.com

We’ll encourage and support you as you develop healthier habits and take control of your smile and your body’s health!

Patient-Centered Dentistry

We know the best dentistry starts with us thoroughly understanding your needs.  When a new patient comes in, we set aside an hour of our time to talk to you and understand how you want to be treated.   Your clinical situation, your treatment goals, and your personal concerns are unique. Our doctors and team respect that and will always actively listen to you, asking insightful questions and striving to learn about you as a person.

Evidence Based Dentistry

In many practices, patients are told what they need. That doesn’t happen here. Instead, care decisions are made together, with the doctors providing guidance and insight, ensuring you understand all of your options.  We believe in evidence, and we will only make recommendations based on evidence.  We see you, our patients, as our partners in the journey of making your teeth healthier.  Only when you trust us and trust that we make recommendations purely based on what's best for your oral and overall health, will make this partnership long lasting.  We have thousands of individuals and families that embrace our philosophy, and we truly appreciate the trust and relationship that we've built over the years.  Thank you to our past and current patients, and a big welcome to those of you who would like to call a honest, personable, compassionate, and highly skilled dental office as your dental home.  We are looking forward in knowing you, helping you achieve the best oral health ever.
