Saeed Kashefi, DMD FAGD
Dr. Kashefi is dedicated to consistently deliver hospitable and high-quality dental care to the great people of Milford, its neighboring towns, and beyond. As an active participant in top tier continuing dental education programs, he believes in constantly supplementing his knowledge base and skill sets. Besides the actual technical work, Dr. Kashefi particularly enjoys building relationships with his patients and growing with them through the years—it’s an opportunity for him to listen and learn about them, their families, and to share a few worthwhile laughs.
Dr. Kashefi grew up a Hoosier in the cornfields of the Midwest states of Indiana and later Illinois. After completing his doctorate cum laude at the Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine, his academic ambitions landed him in New England, where he completed a residency and fellowship at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital Harvard-Wide General Practice Residency Program in Hospital Dentistry. Subsequently, he stayed on staff at BWH before taking a leading role as Clinician and Attending at the Massachusetts General Hospital, where he served for 16 years. Dr. Kashefi also held Clinical Instructor positions at Harvard Medical School and Harvard School of Dental Medicine during these same 16 years. His dedication to continuing studies granted him the awards of Fellowship in the American Association of Hospital Dentistry (FAAHD) as well as the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD).
Outside of the office, Dr. Kashefi enjoys weightlifting, tennis, and watching college basketball. A good deal of his free time is spent reading books about mindfulness, psychology, and neuroscience. He also loves the occasional craft beer or gourmet coffee with a side of good conversation.
